Keep the conversation where you watch. LofiCouch gives your group voice chat, text chat, reactions, room members, and a private invite alongside the JioHotstar tab, so there is no need to coordinate across a separate call and message thread.
The room is designed for a close group: one host and up to three guests. Signed-in users can save rooms for regular watch nights, couples, close friends, and small series-watch sessions.
JioHotstar remains separate and personal. Everyone watches with their own JioHotstar account and access; LofiCouch does not provide or share access, bypass subscription or regional requirements, remove provider advertisements, or proxy, capture, download, decrypt, or restream protected video.

Choose who can join
Use code-only access when you want anyone with the room code to enter. Use friends-only access when the room should be limited to signed-in users already on the host’s LofiCouch friends list.
Pair the browser extension
Open the extension flow from the LofiCouch room using a supported desktop Chromium browser. Pairing connects the JioHotstar tab with the correct room and participant.
Open JioHotstar
Each participant signs in through JioHotstar using their own account, subscription, and regional access. Let the page finish loading before the host starts playback.
Let the host guide the session
The host controls play, pause, seeking, and source changes. LofiCouch keeps guests close to the host’s playback state while voice, chat, and reactions keep the room social.
Your JioHotstar tab handles the stream. LofiCouch handles the room.
JioHotstar stays open on the provider’s website while LofiCouch keeps the rest of the watch experience together: private invitations, room members, voice chat, text chat, reactions, a shared queue, and host-led playback.

Yes. All current LofiCouch features are free. JioHotstar may still require its own subscription or account access.
How many people can join?

Does LofiCouch guarantee perfect synchronization?
No. LofiCouch keeps guests close to the host’s playback state, but ads, buffering, browser behavior, and network conditions may affect timing.
Does LofiCouch restream JioHotstar?
No. Protected video remains on JioHotstar. LofiCouch coordinates playback and provides the room around it.
Is LofiCouch affiliated with JioHotstar or Hotstar?
No. LofiCouch is an independent companion tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by JioHotstar or Hotstar.
Can everyone choose their own audio or subtitle settings?
Yes. Each participant chooses from the options available in their own JioHotstar player. Availability depends on the title, account, region, and provider player.
